We have some really exciting news to share with you! MarketSmart’s Open API is officially out of Beta, and thanks to feedback from Beta users, we’ve made some significant improvements that will allow you to seamlessly pull your MarketSmart data into your CRM.
An API is an Application Programming Interface. It is a software intermediary that allows two applications to talk to each other.
In this case the MarketSmart Open API is an interface that provides programmatic access to your Dashboard data (instead of the traditional CSV download method) so that you can put it into your CRM more efficiently.
Setting up the MarketSmart API will decrease the amount of time you’re spending in the Data Center and working in excel to keep track of your prospects.
Nearly all of the data you see in the dashboard is available through the API.
This includes individual supporter data (personal and demographic data, survey responses, lead score, recency, hidden fields, and digital body language) as well as campaign data.
Additionally you can filter and sort supporters in multiple ways as well as update individual supporter fields via the API.
