Here are some of the thoughts crossing your donors’ minds while you’re asking them to support your cause:
Bottom line: Your supporters will think to themselves, “What will happen if I give them my money?” You need to answer those questions before they give to assure them that they are making a wise decision. Then, after they give, you better make good on your promises. If you don’t, they’ll feel donor remorse and you’ll lose donors.
