FOR FUNDRAISERS ONLY: Read this whenever you feel beaten down by people who don’t understand what you do for humanity

If you are a fundraiser….

You are not a beggar or manipulator who twists arms.

Rather, you are a caring, helpful, generous, joyful facilitator who shares stories, and creates and delivers value through the giving experience.

You are an expert guide, much like a lawyer, doctor, financial planner, accountant, or other expert meeting with someone to help them achieve a goal or complete a task.

Similarly, you know where the alligators are in the pond and where the landmines are in the field. You can help your supporters avoid them.

Plus, you are a facilitator who can deliver the best possible giving experience — a VIP experience. You can help your supporters and donors attain the value they deserve and the outcomes they deeply desire.

So be confident.

You know how to help extraordinary people. You do this every day. This is your thing.

Keep your head high and your chin up!

Your donors cry tears of joy when they find meaning in their lives through sharing their wealth… thanks to you and your support.

WHAT YOU DO FOR HUMANITY IS BEAUTIFUL! Thank you!
