At 9 am next Thursday (October 19th), I’ll be speaking with Lawrence Henze (Principle Consultant, Target Analytics) and Greg Ring (Co-Founder, Fulcrum Philanthropy Systems). The session is titled: Identifying, Engaging, Closing: A three-step process to ultimate giving success. See more details here.
My part will be about qualification. 
I think too many nonprofits skip the qualification stage. Everyone loves to do wealth screening and predictive modeling. And, of course, they love to meet with donors. But I think the critical missing link is QUALIFICATION (and also cultivation). So I’ll be discussing how to NOT overlook those step(s).
