MarketSmart is committed to providing an equal and quality experience for everyone. We are constantly working towards improving the accessibility of our digital properties to ensure we provide equal access to individuals with disabilities including those with visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor impairments.

Wherever possible, we strive to conform to level AA of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines provide a foundation for how to make web content more accessible for people with various disabilities. We believe that conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more friendly for everyone.

While we put our best effort into meeting the success criteria outlined in the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines, we recognize that at this time, there are sections within our template offerings that are not accessible or may be difficult to navigate, particularly for screen reader users. We have partnered with an outside contractor to aid us in identifying and determining remediation options for any identified issues.

The following is a description of sections within our template offerings that we recognize are not at the level of accessibility for which we strive. These sections include:

  • Accordions: The accordion component cannot be controlled with a keyboard alone.
  • Donor-Advised Fund Modal: Once activated, users can interact with content outside of the modal, and this component cannot be controlled with a keyboard alone.
  • Donor Survey: The information, structure, and relationships within the donor survey cannot be determined programmatically.
  • Navigation: Dropdown menus within the top level navigation are not output to screen readers, and cannot be controlled with a keyboard alone.
  • Text Resizer: The text resize component cannot be controlled with a keyboard alone.

In addition to these items, we are working with our partners to ensure their content meets WCAG 2.1 AA color contrast guidelines when applying their brand colors to our templates.

We are actively working on improving the experience in these and other impacted areas. Please be aware that our efforts to remediate any issue with these sections are ongoing. We’ll continue to update this page as we correct these issues or uncover any new ones that may impact a user’s experience. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed on this page.

We continue to strive not only to meet a high level of accessibility support but also provide a polished experience for all visitors. In the meantime, we welcome your questions and comments on how to improve our website’s accessibility, or, if you need assistance using specific features, please contact us:
