I hope you will.
I’m what you call an open networker. I love meeting new people on LinkedIn and I frequently help anyone I can with all kinds of requests.
Here are 4 reasons you might want to do so:
- If you ever need a neat graphic or statistic, I usually have ’em and will share ’em freely. If I don’t have ’em I might know where you can get ’em since I’ve made friends with the foremost researchers in the industry and leaders in the field.
- People who connect with me get lots of free ideas and infographics in their “stream.” I share updates regularly and I’ve been told that people like what I put in my stream. You might feel the same. But if you don’t you can always click the button to see less from me.
- I might be able to introduce you to someone in my network. Many people reach out to me throughout the year to ask me how close I am with one of the connections included in my profile. Sometimes I don’t really know them well. But quite often I do and that frequently leads to an introduction that helps everyone.
- You might get invited to “sneak peaks.” I sometimes invite folks in my network to see amazing new tech inventions we’re developing to help make fundraisers like you more effective. If you aren’t connected to me, you won’t get to see what we’re up to at MarketSmart.
