Here are 5 videos for promoting legacy giving.
According to LegacyVoice these 5 are the best. I’m not so sure about that. But I do applaud the efforts.
What do you think? Do you agree with their selections and think they are the best?

  1. Hello,
To put the WaterAid film into context: WaterAid joined the UK Remember A Charity campaign in 2015. Two amazing supporters took part in the national Remember A Charity in your Will Week Extreme Will Writing Challenge. We turned their experience into two films and shared their stories on why they have chosen to include a gift in their will to WaterAid via email and on social. The open rate and CTR on Dave’s email to our supporters was one of the best we have seen for a stewardship style email. The tie in to Remember A Charity and having two supporters in the national campaign sharing their passion for our work resulted in our best ever response for legacy information pack requests. Dave and Meryl’s stories also inspired other supporters to get in touch and share their decision to include a gift in their will to WaterAid.
We share this film https://www.wateraid.org/uk/get-involved/giving/include-a-gift-in-your-will on our main gifts in wills page to show the impact your gift could have on future generations.
In 2018 we will be making some new legacy films, which will be shorter and more suited to social….watch this space!

  2. Great idea. However I think these are too long, and contain too much information.

Those videos should be like a TV commercial: 15 or 30 seconds long.

  4. I really like the last one, British Red Cross. It is too the point, not to long, but also ensures family/friends are included with the residue to charity. Well done on this one.

    Thanks for the post
